The Coop Cottage
Also referred to as the “Writer’s Cabin,” our recently converted chicken coop cottage is the perfect cozy retreat space for anyone seeking some quietude. With a picture window and deck that gaze directly into the woods, the Coop is the perfect place to curl up with a book, catch up on your journaling, or plot your next big project.
The Barn Studio
The Barn is where the dream of Ladybug Land was born. Over the past several decades, the Barn has been a modular site of experimentation and play, from dance and yoga workshops to band rehearsals, recordings, and retreats. We have hosted a wide range of musical artists including Skullcrusher, The Tumblers, Added Color, and Odetta Hartman.
The Lodge
Built in the 1860s as a boarding house to support the local tanning industry of the time, this Bavarian homestead will be the heart that pumps life into the greater creative initiatives of Ladybug Land. We are currently restoring this formidable structure’s seven bedrooms and two kitchens to its original use as space for hosting and gathering large groups. In one year, we have undergone major demolition and infrastructural investigation, while building an outstanding team who will help us preserve the stunning craftsmanship and legacy of the land.
